Walk and Talk Session Fees
Fees for private clients are based on a sliding scale with three tiers according to income.
Concession (income below $30,000)
Cost $135Medicare rebate $110.80 (out of pocket = $14.20)
Mid range income ($30.000-$79,000)
Cost $165Medicare rebate $110.80 (out of pocket = $54.20)
High income ($80,000 plus)
Cost $200Medicare rebate $110.80 (out of pocket = $89.20)
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur the full fee
When referred with a GP mental health plan, the higher Medicare rebate of $110.80 applies for walking counselling sessions as they are conducted at a place other than consulting rooms.
